Last night, I had my first dinner out since completing the Whole30. (See my results!) We chose Brasa on Grand Avenue — one of my favorite spots for gluten-free food in the Twin Cities.
I enjoyed ribs, Brussels sprouts with pickled ginger (quite possibly my favorite part of the meal), fried yucca with mojo sauce and a nice glass of pinot noir.
For dessert, we headed to Cupcake in Minneapolis. They were sweet enough (no pun intended) to top a gluten-free lemon-blueberry cupcake with vanilla frosting (my favorite) instead of the usual white chocolate. So good. Such a treat!
We had a lovely night. I feel blessed to live surrounded by such amazing dining options. Yum!
PLEASE NOTE: I’m not affiliated with Brasa or Cupcake. They are just two restaurants that our family enjoys. For my philosophy on discussing products and restaurants on Angie Anew, visit my disclosure page.

I’ve been wondering how I’m going to celebrate the end of what will become a Whole60 (I think)… did you feel badly after eating sugar and wine, etc.?
